
There are solo charts available, but they don't really do a good job for teams that are pas or run heavy. I can typically find the time to knock out a game in a sitting but thankfully have the space to leave a game up. 80s years are a plus, but I like older seasons as much as newer ones. I love games that emphasize individual match-ups. I play because I want the what if, not because I want a straight replay of what really happened. I like games that provide realistic results but do not completely script the replay. I don't think there is a truly definitive game, as there are several things I look for in a game. Like galaril, I have played a ton of football games. My question for MG owners " are we sure those extra play calling options and extra individual ratings add value to the game? The latter (MG) I know it has many more offensive play options that includes the o-linemen and defensive players rated. That leaves me to Gridiron Wars or Mean Gene football. Goal Football had some questionable engine aspects around runs if I remember and is a bit boring at least when i played it. Game Winning drive is a great one but every now and then some season rating errors pop up that make me concerned of its accuracy. SPF though fast enough seems to be slightly longer than what I am looking for.įast Action Football while I really enjoy its' momentum factor and wish other games tried is a bit too lacking in the results variance area.

Second Season even with the speed up components is a two hour plus game for me.
